The Cedar Bus Co. is committed to creating a clean environment for our community. As part of this pledge, Cedar Bus has invested in Compressed Natural Gas (CNG), a gasoline and diesel alternative that is odorless, colorless, and produces over 90% fewer harmful emissions than gas. This means no billowing black exhaust and no harmful fumes to breathe.

In addition to the environmental benefits of CNG are the economic ones. CNG is much less expensive per gallon than traditional gasoline or diesel, plus CNG-powered vehicles have a much lower cost to maintain. For fleets looking to convert to CNG, there are also many grant and tax credit opportunities available.

Cedar Bus’s Buffalo headquarters is home to a newly constructed CNG fueling station that is open to the public – the first station of its kind in the City of Buffalo.
